Curious Creators- STEM Exploration Club (Grades K-2) Taught by Sarah Cristino During this fun filled, exciting club, young engineers will explore, build, test ideas, and follow their curiosity. During each session, Ms Cristino will start with a book that connects to the topic of the day. Then students will experiment with various building materials that will provide them with opportunities for teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. Join us for this unique club where we will learn that being curious leads to amazing discoveries.
Let's Create- Clay & Glass Club (Grades 1-5) Taught by Amanda Daley In this creative club, students will explore, manipulate, and create a piece of ceramic and glass artwork. We will use techniques such as hand-building, coil building, glazing and fusing to create a one of a kind piece of 3D art. Whether this is your first TEK Art experience or you are a previous club member, you will be inspired by working on a new project and walk away with a beautiful new 3D piece of artwork.
The Mahj Squad Club- Mahjong Club (Grades 2-5) Taught by Brooke Leithead Calling all curious minds for some tile-tapping fun! Whether you're brand new to Mahjong or already know your way around the tiles, the Mahjong Club is the place to be! Join us as we learn the rules and strategies of this exciting, ancient game all while strengthening your memory, logic, and reasoning skills. Come build friendships through fun and friendly competition. Beginners and seasoned players are all welcome—no experience needed. Let’s play, learn, and grow-one tile at a time!
