Registration form is below Club descriptions. Animal STEAM with Literacy Fun! Grades K-1 Come discover, create, and experiment as we explore STEAM through amazing animal projects and unique animal literature! We will create flying bats, engineer wild animal homes, conduct a bird beak challenge, investigate animal tracks all while learning about cool animals on our planet and then tying them to an engaging read aloud. Put on your lab coat and grab your goggles because this Animal STEAM club will rock your world! Repeat club members welcome all new activities!
Scrapbooking Club Grades 2-5 Do you love to create and express yourself? Then this is the club for you! During our time together, students will learn how to create memories through imagination, magazines, art, and so much more. Each week we will work on our scrapbooks with weekly themes. On the last day of the club, students will have the opportunity to present their scrapbooks to classmates! Scrapbooking is a GREAT way to make new friends, express yourself through art, and make keepsakes!
STEMtastic Scientist -Winter Wonders and More! Grades 2-5 We are heading on a STEMtastic mission where we will explore the world of science through hands-on experiences. We will investigate the science behind engineering, biology, and chemistry with cool experiments and projects. We will create crystal snowflakes, engineer simple circuits with winter lights, explore the properties of magnetism with magnetic slime, and much more. Don't miss out on this amazing STEMtastic experience! Repeat students welcome - new activities!!
The Falcon News Grades 2-5 Help create the first edition of the GHE Falcon newspaper! Students will love this engaging and creative club as they plan and publish a school newspaper. Club members will become reporters, editors, and writers. They will have options to try creative writing, poetry, interviews, sports pieces and more. In addition to the writing, students will add artistic elements to the paper such as advertisements, illustrations, and photographs. Come join us and explore the exciting world of journalism!
