Grades K-1 We are heading on a STEMtastic mission where we will explore the world of science through hands-on experiences with a Spring Theme! We will investigate the science behind engineering and chemistry with cool experiments and projects. Get ready to create moon sand, explode a candy geyser, engineer a groovy lava lamp, along with many cool STEM challenges. Come see how much fun STEM can be! Repeat members welcome.
Bonkers for Books - Grades K-1 Are you bonkers for good books? Then this is the club for you! Each week, Ms. Forbes will share some of her favorite Spring books, teach important literacy skills and connect it all to an art project or STEM activity. We will read some exciting titles such as Grumpy Monkey Spring Fever, Llama Llama Very Busy Springtime, Pete the Cat and the Cool Caterpillar, and much more! This club will be a fun-filled way for your child to improve their reading confidence, vocabulary, creativity, and communication skills. Come see how much fun books can be!
Jaguars Theater Club - The Wizard of Oz! Grades 2-5 Does your child have a love for putting on performances? If so, then our "Jaguars Theater" club is just for them! Students will participate in acting exercises, memorizing/delivering lines with expression, and contributing to the production of an abridged Wizard of Oz as a final performance at the last club session. Improvisation, creativity, self-confidence and communication are just some of the important skills drama can provide. We can't wait to share in our love for the performing arts with you!
STEM Explorers Grades 2-5 Are you a curious and adventurous kid with a passion for discovery? Do you love exploring the mysteries of the universe and experimenting with cool science projects? In this hands-on club we will investigate the science behind engineering, and chemistry with cool experiments and projects. We will create lemon powered batteries, paper LED circuits, a life size wall marble maze, and much more! Don't miss out on this amazing STEMtastic experience! Repeat students welcome.
