We will create jumping frogs, build glow in the dark jellyfish, experiment with exploding elephant toothpaste and much more! Put on your lab coat and grab your goggles because this STEAM/Literacy club will rock your world!
Crafty Creators - Exploring the World of Animals Grades 1-3 Join us as we explore the exciting world of animals and crafting and art! We will learn about a new animal each week through literacy connections and will do a craft/art project to go along with each lesson. We will explore the world of various fun creatures. You will be able to bring home unique, handmade items to share with your family. If you love expressing your creativity AND love animals then this is the club for you!
Spark Lab! Grades 2-5 Get ready to spark curiosity and ignite imagination! The Spark Lab is an exciting club where young scientists dive into the worlds of STEM through hands-on, minds-on experiments and challenges. Each week, students will become real scientists as they explore bubbling reactions, build crazy contraptions, and solve fun engineering problems—just like the pros! Students will learn how science works in the real world—all while having a blast!
The Mahj Squad- JYJ Mahjong and Rummy Club Grades 3-5 Calling all curious minds for some tile-tapping fun! Whether you're brand new to Mahjong or already know your way around the tiles, the Mahjong Club is the place to be! Join us as we learn the rules and strategies of this exciting, ancient game all while strengthening your memory, logic, and reasoning skills. We also will have Rummy tiles to add to the fun if Rummy is more your game. Come build friendships through fun and friendly competition. Beginners and seasoned players are all welcome—no experience needed. Let’s play, learn, and grow-one tile at a time! JYJ Newspaper Club Grades 4-5 Calling all journalists! Help create the Fall 2025 edition of the Jaguar Newspaper! Students will experience a variety of roles in the newsroom and get practice as photographers, editors, and writers. They will have the opportunity to refine their writing skills, build their creativity, and collaborate as a team to publish a newspaper to share with their peers.
