Preschool Enrichment ​Classes

Winter Wonders
Join us as we explore the answer to many questions… How do animals stay warm in winter? Where do animals go in winter? What is snow made of and what does it turn into? What do snowmen do at night? We will also have some fun holiday activities for Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day.  Each class will consist of a story, science experiment, craft, and some games or songs.  Come join us! 
Age Group: Pre-K Students (4’s & 5’s)

Kindergarten, Here I Come! Class
Want to have a confident, prepared and excited Kindergartner? Join us for our weekly classes that will help build your child’s skill set needed to be successful and well prepared for Kindergarten. This class will offer engaging and interactive reading, writing, and math activities, sure to make the transition
to Kindergarten a smooth one. 
Age Group: Pre-K Students (4’s & 5’s)
Dates: 6 Week Session

March 24-May 5 (skipping 4-7 Spring Break)

About Teacher Elizabeth Walker:
Elizabeth has years 5 of experience teaching in a variety of settings including Pre-K, Kindergarten, First grade, and Fourth grade.  She received her bachelor of science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Georgia and her masters degree in Early Childhood education from Augusta State University.  Elizabeth grew up in Atlanta, GA and now lives in Raleigh with her husband, Lee, and their three children.

About teacher Dana Zeszotarski:
​Dana has thirteen years of experience teaching elementary school.  She taught first grade and Title 1 reading at York Elementary School.  She graduated from North Carolina State University and received her teaching certificate from Meredith College.  She is also a certified reading specialist.  Most recently Dana has been teaching preschool age children at church and with TEK.  She grew up in Glen Allen, Virginia and now lives in Raleigh with her husband and two daughters.
