Social Graces and Manners Classes A modern day etiquette and manners program taught by Hanna Compton
Why Social Graces?
Life is about extending grace and gratitude. Manners give us the tools to live a life of grace and gratitude! They help us make good choices, put others first, respect others and ourselves, deal with disappointment, and celebrate with others. And these soft skills are hugely important in life in our families, in our schools, in our neighborhoods, and in our workplaces.

About Teacher Hanna Compton
I am a big believer in the power of thank you notes, small acts of kindness, and radical hospitality toward others. I am doing my best to raise my own children to be thankful and gracious adults. I believe that as parents we want and need our children to hear that manners are important from other adults. Sometimes it takes our children hearing it from someone else to make it “click”! I began my career in the sports world and went onto to many years helping nonprofits in the areas of program management, board relations, and development. Most recently, I have had the great blessing of organizing manners classes in Raleigh with long time etiquette teacher Mary Salem Thacker of Greensboro. I also teach and coordinate Sunday School for preschool and elementary aged children. I look forward to sharing the art of social graces with your child! |
