Winter Wonders- Exploring STEAM and Literature Grades K-1 Do you ever wonder why it snows, how animals stay warm in the Arctic, or if there is anything colder than ice? Join us and all the answers to these questions with Ms. MacMartin. Each week she will share some of her favorite Winter books, teach important literacy skills and connect it all to a craft project, a science project, or a yummy snack. This club will be a fun-filled way for your child to improve their reading confidence, vocabulary, creativity, and communication skills. Join us as we discover what makes winter wonderful! STEMtastic Scientists Grades 2-5 Do you like creative exploration, engineering, tinkering and inventing? Do you enjoy thinking "outside of the box"? Join us for this one of a kind club where we will have opportunities to discover, assemble, construct and share inventions created for use in our community. We will create robotic hands, homemade harmonicas, straw roller coasters, and more! You will even have time to plan your invention, create and ultimately share with your school community.
