Junior Chef Club (Grades K-3)

Taught by Kali Blaine

Calling all junior chefs! Get ready to mix, stir, roll, and create in our interactive kids cooking club where the kitchen becomes a place for imagination, learning, and delicious fun! Each week will bring a NEW themed adventure! We will create Groundhog Day Goodies, Superbowl Snacks, Valentines Day Sweets, President Day Plates and more! Join us for this unique club where you will learn basic kitchen skills, explore new ingredients and recipes, gain confidence and creativity and bring home the recipe cards to share with your family and friends!

Friendship Club (Grades 1-5)
Taught by Clare Marsh & Jenna Lioi

Join the Friendship Club, a fun, creative space where students build friendships, express themselves, and celebrate individuality! Inspired by student interests (and a love for Taylor Swift), we’ll enjoy crafts, music, and activities that promote empathy, cooperation, and confidence. Projects include friendship bracelets, lyric-inspired art, journals, collages, and “Eras Tour” posters. Through journaling and listening circles, students will reflect on positive lyrics and share how music makes them feel, all while growing socially, emotionally, and creatively!

NRES Cheer Club (Grades 2-5)

Taught by Meredith Jarrett

Get ready to jump, cheer, and show your school spirit! This beginner-friendly cheer club is perfect for students in grades 2–5 who want to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading. Each session will begin with stretches and a fun warm-up, followed by lessons in cheer motions and beginner jumps. Students will explore basic stunting with a strong focus on safety and teamwork. Throughout the session, students will learn a simple routine to perform in front of the school! No prior experience is required—just bring your energy, enthusiasm, and school pride! Open to all boys and girls!

The Daily Sparkle- Newspaper Club (Grades 2-5)

Taught by Mariyah Storrs

Help create the first ever edition of North Ridge’s Daily Sparkle newspaper, where magic meets the news! Students will love this engaging and creative club as they plan and publish a school newspaper. Club members will become reporters, editors, and writers. They will have options to try creative writing, poetry, interviews, sports pieces and more. In addition to the writing, students will add artistic elements to the paper such as advertisements, illustrations, and photographs. We are beyond excited to start a school newspaper and would love to have any interested students!

Sports Palooza  (
Grades 3-5)

Taught by Austin Mercer

Are you interested in learning and developing skills in a variety of team sports? During this fun filled club, you will learn how to strategically work together and play some awesome games! Emphasis will be placed on skills, rules and lead-up activities for each game. Good sportsmanship and team cooperation will be required and stressed. Come join the ultimate sports club that is always a huge hit!
