Game On! - Exploring Math Gamification Grades K-2 Each week in this interactive club you will learn and play a new exciting math game. Games will involve dice, playing cards, teams, solo work, and much more. Various math concepts will be taught all while having fun in these engaging games. At the end of each session, you will get to take these exciting games home to teach your family and friends. Come join us for some amazing math game-play which can make learning even more fun! Crafty Creators Grades 1-3 Explore the exciting world of animals and crafting in this creative club! We will learn about a new animal each week through literacy connections and will do a craft to go along with each lesson. We will be discovering everything from creatures in the sea to the biggest predators! You will be able to bring home unique, handmade items to share with your family. If you love expressing your creativity AND love animals then this is the club for you! Out of this World Yoga Grades K-5 Eager to try yoga for the first time or sharpen your yoga skills? Then this is the club for you! Join us in this unique club as we learn basic and challenging yoga poses together. In addition to yoga moves, we will practice mindful art games, guided affirmation activities, and learn about strategies to self-calm. You will get to challenge yourself all while strengthening your body and mind. Join this one-of-a-kind club and become a power yoga guru! Chess Mates Grades K-5 Calling all former TEK Chess Club members. Come learn more about the exciting game of chess! This playful, clear-cut game encourages problem solving and analytical skills, positive self-esteem, as well as verbal and memory reasoning. Join the chess club and become a critical thinker as you learn the skills to play this fun, thought provoking game. Players will be grouped according to their level and instruction will be given for appropriate levels. Only open to repeat chess students from the Fall 2021/Winter 2022 sessions. New students will be accepted in the Fall of 2022. |
