We will draw inspiration from earth and environmental artist, Andy Goldsworthy, in order to create art using natural elements. Students will also get creative with leaf prints, shadow and light, weaving, clay, and more! Enjoy the beauty of nature and the creativity it inspires during this Art in Nature Club!
Destination Innovation- Engineering Fun Grades K-2 The field of engineering holds countless hours of fun and exploration. Come join Mrs. Loh and Mrs. Page as we explore certain areas of engineering. We will create a Lego Maze and practice our coding skills, we will be constructing solar ovens for making s'mores, building balloon cars, and so much more! You do not want to miss out on this colossal construction of fun!
STEM Palooza: Science Fun with Food and More!
Come join us as we head on a mission where we will explore the world of science with cool hands-on experiments. Each session we will learn the key scientific principles behind our food exploration as well as other science topics. Get ready to concoct your own fizzy drinks, explore candy DNA, create a lemon volcano, and much more. Don't miss out on all this science fun!
Fiber Art
Join me, Mrs. Oke, in exploring the fascinating world of Fiber Art! In this elective, students will explore creating using fiber-based mediums! Students will get hands-on experience making paper, learning unique tie-dying techniques, weaving in the round, and an opportunity to use a sewing machine to sew an up-cycled t-shirt bag!
Spanish Club Students in 5th Grade If you are thinking about taking Spanish in Middle School, this is the Club for you! This Club is specifically designed to help students prepare for Middle School Spanish classes. Learn Spanish grammar, reinforce essential vocabulary, and practice interpersonal communication skills through games and fun activities. So, whether you have been taking Spanish for several years, speak Spanish, or will be just starting on your Spanish learning adventure, this is Club for you.
