Grab your goggles, your lab coat, and your favorite book as we head out on a scientific discovery to explore the world of science through stories, experiments, and art. This enrichment class will inspire your child to investigate, discover, imagine, create, and improve literacy skills. Each week, Mrs. Z and Mrs. Walker will share some of their favorite books, provide hands on science experiences, and help your children create crafts that they are sure to love. Limited to 16 students.
Age Group: Pre-K Students (4’s & 5’s)

About Teacher Elizabeth Walker:
Elizabeth has years 5 of experience teaching in a variety of settings including Pre-K, Kindergarten, First grade, and Fourth grade. She received her bachelor of science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Georgia and her masters degree in Early Childhood education from Augusta State University. Elizabeth grew up in Atlanta, GA and now lives in Raleigh with her husband, Lee, and their three children.
About teacher Dana Zeszotarski:
Dana has thirteen years of experience teaching elementary school. She taught first grade and Title 1 reading at York Elementary School. She graduated from North Carolina State University and received her teaching certificate from Meredith College. She is also a certified reading specialist. Most recently Dana has been teaching preschool age children at church and with TEK. She grew up in Glen Allen, Virginia and now lives in Raleigh with her husband and two daughters.
