STEM Makerspace Grades K-2 We are heading on a STEMtastic mission where we will explore the world of science though hands-on experiences in our very own Makerspace! We will investigate the science behind engineering, chemistry, and physics with cool experiments and projects. Get ready to build/launch bottle rockets, create chemistry concoctions and art, perform magic tricks in water, and much more! Edible Structures Grades 2-5 How cool would it be to build your own edible structures? In this club we will design and build marshmallow towers, jellybean bridges, cookie Eiffel Towers, edible buildings and much more! After we build, we will test our structures through team challenges. Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity to create and explore edible engineering! What’s Your Inspiration? Exploring and Creating Art Grades 2-5 Calling all artists! In this club students will explore famous works of art and learn about the ideas that inspired these artists. Students will then have the opportunity to exhibit creativity and critical thinking by creating their own masterpieces using a variety of media: acrylic on canvas, clay, watercolor, chalk pastel, and mixed-media. You won’t believe the amazing, creative pieces we will create!(All new projects-repeat club students welcome) Lights, Camera, Action! Grades 3-5 Do you want to make short films? Do you want to create sets and movie characters? This exciting club will involve making short claymation, stop motion and green screen films! We will use IPADS, clay, legos, and different crafting materials to make your films interesting and creative. Come join the fun as we make your stories come alive!
