​Winter Wonders Book Club
Grades K-1
Taught by Amelia Sheaffer & Gabi Saleh
Do you ever wonder why it snows, how animals stay warm in the Arctic, or if there is anything colder than ice? Come find all the answers to these questions with Ms. Saleh & Mrs. Sheaffer. Each week we will share some of our favorite books, teach important literacy skills and connect it all to a craft project, a science project, or a yummy snack. This club will be a fun-filled way for your child to improve their reading confidence, vocabulary, creativity, and communication skills. Join us as we discover what makes Winter wonderful!

Fancy Nancy Book Club
Grades 1-3
Taught by Renee Fields
If you love lots of glitter and the color fuchsia, then this is the club for you! Come explore the wonderful world of Fancy Nancy, and learn about all things fabulous! Each week, we will read a new Fancy Nancy book, discuss the literary themes and make a “fancy” craft based on the story. All new books and crafts will be used, so we welcome any repeat friends. Join Ms. Fields to learn how to be like Fancy Nancy, and change bland into chic!
 
STEM Challenges
Grades 2-5

Are you ready to get your STEM game on! Join Mrs. Hutcherson in this unique club as you delve into some amazing STEM Challenges. During the club we will challenge ourselves to construct foam rockets, have fun with Lego building challenges, create March Madness basketball shooters, and more. Don’t miss out on investigating the science behind all of these cool and exciting challenges!

Edible Builders
Grades 2-5
Taught by Marlie Lasher
How cool would it be to build your own edible structures? During this club, we will design and build marshmallow towers, jellybean bridges, cookie Eiffel Tower & other famous structures! After we build, we will test our structures through team challenges.  Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity to create and explore engineering while we build with food!

Grades 3-5

Are you ready to explore something new? Join us for this exciting club where we will learn how to use this new program that will turn your story into a video game! Bloxels is a hands-on platform for kids to build, collaborate, and tell stories through video game creation.  You become the writer, artist, designer, and developer of your own interactive stories -- and then bring your game to life.  We'll develop our video games and then play them!
