Tailored Enrichment Kids was founded by Duval Fisher and Julie Sullivan because of their passion for teaching. The concept for TEK grew from their desire to have enhanced educational experiences for their own children. Seeing this void in their community, Duval and Julie began offering classes to their children and friends. These classes were an enormous success, word spread, and this prompted Duval and Julie to expand their business. The vision for Tailored Enrichment Kids is to provide exceptional learning experiences for children that expand their educational and personal growth.
Duval Fisher has 12 years experience teaching preschool and elementary aged children. The majority of her teaching career was spent at Joyner Elementary in Raleigh, NC. She holds a degree in Psychology from UNC- Chapel Hill and received her teaching certification from UNC-Wilmington. Duval is a native of Richmond, VA and has resided in Raleigh with her husband and two children for over 10 years

Julie Sullivan has 10 years of teaching experience in a variety of classrooms settings, including AG elementary aged children, 4-5th graders, as well as most recently teaching in a preschool program in Raleigh, NC. She has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Florida. Julie grew up in New Jersey and Massachusetts and has enjoyed moving around the east coast, especially living in Raleigh, NC with her husband and three children for the past 6 years.
